You Are Speed

About the Game

A short niche speed-running game with an advanced movement mechanics and hand made maps.

To celebrate my 25th birthday and to recover from burnout I made this game. In each level a part of a message I wrote is read aloud by me. 

Most levels contain more than one path to reach the objective (of blowing out a candle on a birthday cake for me :D).

You Are Speed contains:

* Multiple hand made levels

* A speed rating system and personal bests for every level

* An advanced movement system that includes:

• Sprinting

• Wall-running

• Double jumping

• Sliding / crouching

• Grappling (as in with a grappling hook)

• Speed boosts

• Jump boosts

• Launchers

• Teleportation

• Transforming into a flying spirit

• And all the movement tech that can be achieved by combining those..
