Stellar Descending is a turn-based, multi-layered top-down factory building and exploration game. Inspired by RimWorld, Factorio, and Shattered Pixel Dungeon.

Set in the early days of interstellar colonization, humanity eagerly gazes toward the stars, and you are among the first wave of scouts dispatched to every planet with even the slightest colonial potential.

After a long voyage, you'll begin your arduous journey on the barren surface of an alien world, mining buried timber and ore, establishing production lines to support your descent into the depths. As you delve deeper, you'll uncover not only the diverse ecosystems of potentially habitable planets and mysteriously hostile obstacles, but also secrets long buried beneath the surface.

Here, you can: Build logistics systems spanning multiple layers—transport ore from cave levels to mid-tier smelters, or use plant products irrigated by shallow water to fuel generators perched on cliffs; channel ice-melt from upper layers to extinguish magma pools in the depths, or blanket the surface with solar panels to power heavy mining rigs far below.

Design modular assembly machine systems! How materials flow in and out, operating speeds—everything follows your layout.

Experience fluid turn-based gameplay, allowing seamless auto-pathfinding to distant locations or careful step-by-step planning when strategy is needed.

You can also: Engage in diverse combat modes—melee with hammers, drills, or cutters; kite enemies with throwing darts, grenades, or missiles; or lay traps with explosives, turrets, or even mining corridors to let foes fall to your ingenuity. Stealth, blink teleportation, and drones offer endless tactical possibilities.

Fight across vertical layers! You can certainly drop bombs on unfortunate monsters on the cliff below, but they'll find their way up to retaliate. Deep underground, even the ground beneath your feet may not be safe...

Of course, building and combat are inseparable—use metal walls to block a dragon's shockwave, or break through rock to strike at iron rats in their lair. And let's not forget ranged and summoner enthusiasts backed by war factories churning out endless ammunition.

But that's not all! The game will continue to receive updates with new maps and storylines, and more playable characters are planned.
