About the Game

[Core Gameplay]

The game features a Roguelike-Tower Defense hybrid, primarily drawing inspiration from three titles: Slay the Spire, Brotato, and Arknights. It follows a spire-climbing style Roguelike challenge where players select talents after each battle. Players can deploy and strengthen operators, choosing talent cards to enhance their build—including Defense Cards, Attack Cards, and Special Cards.

Players must find the optimal solution among various operator characters based on the battlefield situation, constructing unique combinations to counter enemy assaults. Additionally, players can actively attack enemy spawn points to strike back.

[Characters and Progression]

Players take on the role of the Demon King, embarking on a journey across the continent. Failure does not mean permanent death; instead, players are "reborn." Each rebirth allows players to strengthen themselves based on their performance in the previous run. The game features multiple BGM tracks that switch according to the scene. The art style is primarily 2D anime-style illustrations, while the in-game character sprites are designed in a "chibi" (Q-version) style.

The "Rebirth" mechanism creates a complete growth loop. The chibi characters, paired with dynamic background music, provide a comfortable strategic environment for both visual and auditory senses.

[Unique Narrative Experience]

Players receive a "Story Card" upon clearing a stage, allowing them to choose when to watch the plot unfold. This ensures that the flow of intense gameplay is never interrupted by sudden, lengthy story segments. While players can view the story at any time, there may be a mandatory 2–3 second narrative beat after clearing a stage to ensure players know who they are fighting, preventing a total loss of immersion or mindless combat.
