About the Game

In Writ of Battle, victory isn't won by reflexes it's won by preparation. Draft your team of five from a roster of unique archetypes, fine-tune their stats and abilities, and design the tactics that will carry them to victory in head-to-head PvP combat. Every decision matters. Every matchup is a puzzle. Will your strategy hold up?

Player Builds

Choose from 13 character archetypes each with their own special abilities. You have five character slots to configure seven attributes that modify base player stats like HP, damage, critical chance and multipliers. With over 100 abilities to mix and match across any archetype, you're never locked into a single playstyle!

Tactics

Define how each character plays with two tactics modes. In Simple mode, assign abilities or general strategies like "Highest Damage" or "DoT Priority," pick a target type like "Lowest HP Enemy" or "Role: Caster," and set conditions such as "Target is Critical Health" or "Self: Health Below 30%." Advanced mode takes it further with stances and positioning options like "Hold Position" or "Maintain Range."

Every character is fully customizable. No two teams play alike.

Play modes

Practice: Test your builds against bots with both simple and advanced tactics. Perfect for refining your strategies before you challenge others.

Challenge: Got a score to settle? Challenge someone directly and prove you can outsmart them.

Ranked: Queue your team against random opponents and climb the leaderboards. Take on higher-ranked teams to prove you can punch above your weight!
