When Civilians Dig Holes is a casual incremental game where you dig one hole after another until you finally reach the other side of the world.

Digging a hole to the other side of the world is a notoriously impossible task for one person. Thankfully, you can hire worms, gophers, moles, and more to automate the digging process for you!

As you dig, you'll discover a large range of very realistic artifacts. Artifacts grant you Research Points, which increase your base digging productivity each time you start digging a new hole.

Pick up a side hustle while you dig by mining for ore! There are 4 different types of ore, and you can sell all of it on the ever-changing ore market.

Defy physics by placing buildings like pools, hot tubs, gazebos, and more inside the hole! Buildings can boost your productivity or grant special effects, and they become more powerful as your digging speed increases.

Your hole-digging project will undoubtedly become a topic of hot gossip in your neighborhood. Some of your neighbors will even start letting you dig holes in their backyard, which will unlock unique upgrades, artifacts, and quests. There are 7 different backyard locations to choose from!
