Play as Sushi, an orphaned Dutch bunny. A distant descendant of the moon bunny. A distant relative of the Rabbit of Inaba. Simulate bun life on a small island in the Ryukyu chain with nothing but luck, stubbornness ...and a wooden hammer.

Kagome-jima is a living island. Explore dense jungle, coastal villages, ancient shrines, tidal flats, fishing docks, and places your mom warned you about, but your father would frequent often.... uh. Ignore that. Farm. Forage. Explore. 

Maximalist in every direction, including ones you cannot navigate. Based on real bunnies.

Push further and the tone can curdle into psychological horror, with the world responding to your habits and choices until the island feels like it is actively studying you. Cozy sim, narrative odyssey, or something darker, the same game supports all of it without forcing you into a path.  

  • Maximalist 2D Art: An obsessively-crafted world where every sprite and animation is drawn entirely by hand, each animation frame-by-frame by world-class artist Numina Lucy.  

  • Living Environments: Realtime day/night cycle with dynamic lighting,  five Ryukyu seasons, startlingly accurate weather systems,  deeply researched and realized flora and fauna, , NPC schedules tied to the world clock, shifting ambient soundscapes, and an atmosphere that makes the island breathe.   

  • Original Score: This soundtrack was built from the ground up for this world alone. Every track original, every note composed, performed and produced by the same single possibly-summoned artist responsible for everything else. It will get you somewhere you were not expecting.

  • Solo Developed:  one sole mysterious artist that definitely wasn't summoned using magical circles of any kind and required absolutely zero human sacrifice.  Let's focus on the bunnies.  Look!!  Cute bunnies!!    You are not looking.  Go look..
