What The Dog Remembers
About the Game
A retro style psychological horror game about isolation, perception, and the things we choose not to see.
GAMEPLAY
Each night follows a simple cycle. Watch your environment for anything out of place. Use your notebook to report what you find. Make the right call to advance. Make the wrong call and face the consequences.
The trailer changes as your perception frays. What was once familiar becomes alien. You must learn to tell the difference between a normal night and something far worse.
ANOMALIES
Over 30 unique events can manifest during your stay. Some are obvious. Some are barely noticeable. Some will end you before you even realize they are there. The game adapts to your choices, your alertness, and your luck.
DIFFICULTY MODES
Four ways to experience the game:
Default — The intended experience. Timed nights, escalating tension.
Accessible — No timer, no lethal anomalies. Explore at your own pace.
Nightmare — Half the time. Every error is fatal. No second chances.
Subtle — The most difficult anomalies to detect. For the truly observant.

ABOUT THE STORY
You arrive by car at a rented trailer on the edge of a forest. You moved here to isolate yourself. To heal. To wait until your mind settles and you can trust your senses again.
The anomalies grow worse each night, creeping closer to the edge of what you can rationalize. Through all of this, the dog is always there. Always watching from somewhere. It does not judge, it does not speak. It is just a dog, and somehow that is the most grounding thing left. The truth behind what is happening will only reveal itself to those who pay close attention.
Some endings are earned. Others are given.
