About the Game

VOID81 is an experience that combines survival horror, 3D platforming, and retro 80s atmospheres, offering a unique journey through mysterious, surreal, and ever-changing worlds.

In this title, each level represents a different reality to explore, each with its own style, puzzles, and entities. No two settings are alike, and each advancement is a small adventure with ever-changing gameplay.

The story of VOID81 is deliberately fragmented and cryptic: the player will discover clues along the way, but the truth behind everything that is happening will only be revealed in the last level of the full version. The tone oscillates between mystery, nostalgia, and unease, somewhat reminiscent of the style of backrooms and light psychological horror, without sacrificing the more dynamic and movement-oriented sections typical of 3D platformers.

VOID81 is not meant to be just a horror game or just a platformer: it is a multifaceted journey designed to surprise the player with every new door that opens.

During Early Access, new levels, puzzles, and content will be added constantly, expanding the game universe and enriching the story with new clues and mysteries to decipher.

The Keys are used to activate the portal and reach the exit, allowing you to complete the level.

In some levels, however, there will be no Keys: you just need to find the portal directly in order to escape.

The Drag & Drop system will be essential in some levels: you can grab, move, and drop objects to progress through the area or even complete the entire level.

Each level features a different monster, so there is no repetition.

Each one has unique characteristics and different behaviors.

Fortunately, not all levels include monsters: in some areas, you will face other types of difficulties and challenges.
