About the Game

Who needs a hero?

Udongein X2's story begins when Reisen, a moon rabbit with a dubious past, receives an invitation to hell. Assuming the worst, she decides to form a hero team with her former comrades.

Let's go on an adventure to improve Reisen's karma and uncover the mystery behind this invitation! Who knows, along the way we might even discover some things we were never meant to see...

Bullet Hell platforming goodness

Experience a large portion of the Touhou world like you've never seen it before in this fast-paced 2D platformer with some bullet hell elements. You have to be prepared to dodge bullets, and lots of them!

• Multiple playable characters with wildly different play styles.

• Beautiful pixel art combined with 3D backgrounds.

• Full day/night cycle! Some enemies only appear at certain times of day.

• Large, interconnected levels and non-linear progression.

• Lots of upgrades for each of the playable characters, ranging from simple health increases to whole new weapons and abilities.

• 4 difficulty settings. This game features and extra-easy difficulty, specifically for players who can't handle bullet hell or just want to take it easy. The game does not punish you in any way for picking it!

Yukkuri are strange creatures that like to take it easy and look like disfigured heads of Touhou characters. Udongein X2 features a separate Yukkuri garden mode where you can raise Yukkuri of your own!

• Feed your Yukkuri! It will definitely get sad if you don't...

• Send your Yukkuri into battle against other Yukkuri! It will definitely get sad if it loses...

• Play with your Yukkuri! It will definitely get sad if you abuse it...

• With variable hair styles, skin colors, eye and mouth shapes, accessories, not to mention personality types and skill combinations, there are practically endless different Yukkuri you can call your own!
