Tumly
About the Game
Tumly is a 2.5D physics survival game about a ball tumbling across drifting, bouncing platforms — surviving one treacherous biome after another. Platforms float, collide, and trade momentum like billiard balls, and you're just a passenger learning to steer. Read the physics, time your moves, and carve a clean line through the chaos.
Earn your belts
Your lives are your belts, ranked white to black. Climb the ranks and Tumly unlocks new powers tied to each belt — jump, reverse gravity, freeze the platforms, float, and more. Pop collectible bubbles for passive perks like a shield, a battery, or extra grip. Fail a round and — depending on your difficulty — a belt is the price.
Nine biomes, nine ways to fail
Green Pastures — where every tumble begins.
Desert Dunes — crumbling sand platforms over hungry quicksand.
Frozen Wastes — shearing ice, freezing water, and a chilling slowdown.
Lava Fields — melting ledges and walls of fire.
Dark Forest — ghostly platforms and a treacherous forest floor.
Monopole Match — magnetic platforms you must steer into a single colour.
Crystal Caverns — fracturing crystal that shatters if you linger, on ice-slick footing.
Power Pool — roaming lightning in a charged arena.
Cloud Heaven — wind-blown clouds and the final climb to the sky.
Four ways to play
Gold — the full challenge. Every death costs a belt; run out and it's game over.
Silver — belt ranks only rise, never fall. Climb without the sting.
Bronze — start as a black belt with every ability unlocked. Cozy, low-stakes tumbling.
Platinum — unlocked by beating the game on Gold. The biomes loop, faster every pass, until they finally beat you. Ranked by how far you got.
Each mode keeps its own leaderboard, so there's always a score to chase.
Two-player co-op and duel
Co-op — two balls, shared goals. Either ball landing clears a round, and you share the fall.
Duel — two balls, NOT shared goals. Claim the most platforms, or be the last survivor.
Same screen — two players share one screen. Share a keyboard, split it between keyboard and gamepad, or use two gamepads. Nothing extra needed.
Playing apart — the second player joins from a phone or another PC, over your local network or with a three-digit code from anywhere in the world. Their device becomes the controller and shows them the game.
Two-player runs have their own leaderboards, so nobody's solo record is crowded out.
