About the Game

Train 404 is a first-person co-op survival horror experience. Players are trapped in a procedural labyrinth, your survival depends on a single, grim objective: secure your passage home before the train leaves you behind.

THE MISSION

The rules of the 404 are simple, but the execution is lethal. To escape the maze, you must navigate the shadows to:

• Collect enough coins throughout the map and deposit them in the Ticketing Machine.

• Secure the Golden Ticket that spawns randomly in the map once enough coins have been deposited to the Ticketing Machine.

• Sprint & Evade the relentless entities and race back to the station before the departure time.

COOPERATION BY CHOICE

In this dimension, your peers are your greatest asset or your most unpredictable liability. The social dynamic of teamwork is entirely optional.

Common strategies include:

• The Tactical Squad: Form a tight knit crew to move together, share resources and provide mutual defense. There is safety in numbers, if a teammate falls, the survivors can recover their coins to keep the mission alive.

• The Lone Wolf: Abandon the group to prioritize your own progression. Move with unmatched speed and claim all upgrades for yourself. But be warned: if you succumb to the monsters, your body and your loot may never be found.

STRIKING THE MATCH

Reaching the Train provides you safety from the monsters out there. However, safety is not certainty. The Train's engine is cold and you must manually engage the Train's temperamental power console. Once the Train is powered up, the Train leaves immediately, leaving any players that are not in the Train behind.

PROCEDURAL SURVIVAL

No two descents into the 404 are the same. With a procedurally generated layout, every run demands fresh navigation and quick thinking. Whether you choose to prioritize the collective survival of your team or your own individual escape, the dimension remains indifferent.
