About the Game

Challenge the mysterious tower—and make it back alive.

TOWER BOY is a 3D hack-and-slash roguelite where you switch between a variety of weapons in real time and cut through hordes of enemies.

Venture into a dangerous tower, defeat monsters, and collect resources used to craft equipment and grow stronger. But if you fall inside the tower, you will lose everything collected during that expedition.

Will you keep climbing in search of greater rewards, or return safely before it is too late?

Switching weapons changes the flow of battle

Equip up to three weapons from a varied arsenal, including swords, greatswords, hammers, scythes, bows, and staffs.

Every time you switch weapons, that weapon’s unique Swap Skill activates instantly. Dash toward an enemy, pull nearby monsters together, unleash a powerful shockwave, or retreat while firing a piercing shot.

Weapon swapping has a cooldown, so mindlessly cycling through your equipment will not be enough. Read enemy movements, control the battlefield, and choose the right weapon at the right moment to survive and extend your combos.

Create a different build on every run

Discover a variety of upgrades inside the tower and build a unique combat style for each expedition.

Burn enemies with Ignite, stop them in their tracks with Freeze, spread attacks between nearby targets with Chain effects, or recover health through Life Steal.

Combine upgrades to create powerful builds focused on area damage, crowd control, rapid weapon swapping, survivability, and more.

Greater risks bring greater rewards

The tower contains standard combat rooms, enemy waves, elite encounters, special events, repair rooms, and powerful bosses.

Enemies become more dangerous as you climb, but the resources and rewards also become increasingly valuable. During an expedition, you may discover a portal that allows you to return to camp and secure everything you have collected.

Choosing whether to push forward or escape with your loot is just as important as winning the next battle.

Return to camp and prepare for your next expedition

Make it back alive to use collected resources to craft new weapons, repair damaged equipment, and prepare for another attempt.

Unlock new equipment and upgrade options, experiment with different weapon combinations, and gradually become strong enough to reach the deepest parts of the tower.

Even after failure, your experience and long-term progression will help you move closer to uncovering the secret hidden within.
