Topiary: A Pruning Puzzle
About the Game
To make the plant wider, you have to make it smaller first. It grows on its own, one season at a time. All you can do is cut, and cutting throws away everything above the snip. What grows back is two branches instead of one.
Fill the outlined shape to solve the level. No leaves can persist outside of it. You must look ahead and plan in order to make sure all of your leaves reach the right place at the right time.
Features
Four gardens of hand-built puzzles. The way the plant grows keeps changing, but what you can do about it never does
A par for every board, counted in seasons, and the game keeps your best
Every board hides a seedling as an optional challenge. Covering it with your leaves causes it to wilt. Keep it alive and the flower can bloom
Hold Shift to see where next season's growth lands before you commit to it
Undo any cut you've made this season. Growing locks it in
Take notes in game to help you plan ahead
