Thumps and Blows is a 2D fighting game with some wild and unique characters. Strike hard and harshly or use your energy to unleash stupid skills and powerful movements.

How to play

In Thumps and Blows you have to win fighting 1vs1 quarrels. The best strategy is hitting and not being hit! You’re welcome.

The game basic controls are easy to learn but hard to master, and there are different layers of advanced techniques, so everyone can be a part of this mess!

Use basic attacks for doing some damage and doing combos. If you have enough energy, you can use some special techniques! Each character has 4 different and exclusive techniques, and these can be anything! Jump like a monkey, using a fart like a missile, teleportation, a really manly counterattack… Each character is like a surprise box.

Thumps and Blows also includes a secondary skills button which can be used, in combination with other buttons and depending on the situation, to do some small actions like avoid an attack, float in the air, make a charged jump… In exchange for just a little bit of energy. The key to winning is to manage your energy correctly.

All styles are accepted! Each character has a lot of tools and tricks, so two players can use the same character in two completely different ways.

Enjoy the story mode

Widijou's Short Films team makes films and short films… that never succeed! To make a living, the team does dirty works for the mayor and, in exchange, it gets grants from the Stick City council.

This is the reason why they don’t think much when they are told to free the city from a colourful clone plague… From themselves!

They have no choice but to fight their way out to discover the mystery: Who’s behind this? And… Why?

Seriously, why? It seems like a really stupid plan.

Controls

Thumps and Blows is played with 7 buttons and the movement keys. It can be played with a keyboard or a controller.

Here there are the recommended and default controls, but you can modify them as you like.
