Thousands of Chroma
About the Game
Layered Puzzle Game Based on Nonogram Logic
Complete paintings of thousands of colors — with a puzzle rule from 30 years ago

Nonogram is a puzzle where you complete a picture using only numbered clues. Its appeal lies in the simplicity of its rules — a single image brought to life through pure logic — and it has been loved by countless players around the world for over 30 years. However, one long-standing limitation has been that the resulting images are confined to just two colors. This game,『Thousands of Chroma』, sets out to overcome that limitation, making it possible to create vibrant, full-color artwork using nothing but ■ and □.
Same Rules, Completely Different Experience
This game does not change a single rule of the classic logic puzzle. The difference lies in how multiple puzzles are provided — one for each color — so that together they form a pixel art image. Each time you solve a puzzle, one color layer is completed, and as those layers stack on top of one another, a pixel artwork of thousands of colors gradually comes into view. Throughout the solving process, you can watch the image take shape in real time on the preview screen — and the closer you get to the finish, the harder it becomes to put it down.
Stress-Free, Pick Up Anytime

It's true — the bigger the picture, the bigger the puzzle, and the more tempting it becomes to give up halfway through. This game solves that problem by dividing everything into multiple small puzzles, each no larger than 16×16. Every puzzle can be completed in a short, pressure-free session, and your progress is saved in real time so you can stop and pick back up whenever you like.
