The Tally
About the Game
a life, itemized.
You wake up in Corvid City with a coffee to try, a job to find, and rent that does not care about your feelings. So you live. You work shifts, meet the regulars, take photos for the Tourism Board, ride a skateboard you probably cannot afford, and make a thousand small choices that feel like nothing at the time.
They were not nothing. Something was counting.
When your time is up, and it will be up, you receive THE RECEIPT: every kindness, every shortcut, every held door and quiet lie, added up and handed back to you. Then you are sorted. Where you end up is between you and the arithmetic.
In the box:
A hand-built PS2-era city that actually lives: jobs, shops, weather, regulars who remember you
A full life, start to finish, in around 90 minutes
Eight jobs, a phone full of apps, a camera, and a skateboard
An ending. A real one. Most games don't have one.
Whatever is on the other side of THE RECEIPT (you will see)
No tutorials nag you. No meter tells you if you are being good. You just live, and it is all written down.
