About the Game

Assignment: New Sector Command

The Empire is advancing. For generations, it has continued to expand—rapidly and without pause.
More ground secured. More resources claimed. More proof that this galaxy belongs to us.

Commander, you’ve been assigned to a newly opened frontier sector.
It’s rich in resources, and it’s not under control yet. That’s your job.

First priority — secure extraction zones.
Then establish forward bases and lock down logistics.
We don’t just arrive. We stay.

There are hostiles in the area.
You’ll deal with them.

Operational Doctrine

Under your command are Imperial line infantry and recon units.
They’re not gods of war—but years of training and service in the Imperial system have taught them one thing well: they follow orders.

If things get… complicated, you may request support from specialists.
Assuming you haven’t lost all authority by then.

…a brief chuckle

Armored units are present in the sector and ready to deploy when needed. When they hit the ground, they tend to tear through anything unfortunate enough to be in their way.

Their numbers, however, are limited. Use them properly.

Establish contact with observation posts, and you’ll gain access to heavier options—artillery strikes, missile barrages.

What you do with that… is up to you.

Territorial Control Protocol

This sector is not just terrain.
It is a network of strategic assets. Control them—and the battlefield becomes yours.

Supply points increase your operational capacity.
Hold them, and your forces grow. Lose them, and your advance slows.

Security sectors generate Authority.
Authority is earned through action—eliminating enemy forces, maintaining control, and holding your ground.

Spend it wisely.
It determines how much you can deploy—and how long you can sustain the fight.

Certain locations provide access to restricted resources.
Advanced equipment. Mechanized units. Elite forces.

These assets are limited—and so is access to them.

You may also receive special operational tasks.
Complete them, and your position strengthens further. Ignore them, and someone else will take the advantage.

Control of the map is not optional.
It defines your strength, your options, and your outcome.

Fortification Directives

Taking ground is one thing.
Holding it is another.

You will establish and expand your operational base within the sector.
Production, reinforcement, and coordination—everything begins there.

But the battlefield does not wait for you to return to base.

You are authorized to deploy fortifications beyond your primary position.
Defensive structures, forward positions, and strongpoints—placed where they are needed most.

Lock down key locations.
Deny the enemy access.

A well-placed fortification can hold a sector longer than any squad.
A poorly placed one will be gone before it matters.

Build with intent.

The Empire does not abandon what it has claimed.

Threat Assessment

Primary hostile presence: arachnid organisms.
Aggressive. Numerous. Unintelligent.

They rely on numbers and instinct. They swarm, they overwhelm, and they do not stop until destroyed. Fortunately, they are predictable. Keep your formations tight, maintain fire discipline, and they’ll fall like the rest.

Secondary contacts: human raider groups.

Undisciplined. Poorly equipped. No command structure worth mentioning.

They survive by scavenging what they cannot build—and taking what they cannot earn. Do not underestimate them.
Even disorganized resistance can disrupt operations if ignored. Additional hostile factions may emerge as operations expand deeper into contested space.
