The Other Order
About the Game
The Other Order is a surreal-gothic roguelike with turn-based duels, where you build tile runs and sets to attack your enemies. You and your enemies share the same set of tiles, allowing both of you not only to build and reshape your own combinations, but also to rebuild each other’s to deal damage. Every move you make can both hurt you and strengthen your enemy’s strategy.

Combat is based on tile combinations. Chains are tiles of the same color linked in ascending number order. Groups are tiles of the same value across different colors. These combinations deal damage.
There are 54 tiles in total, shared between both sides. This means you don’t just build your own combinations, but also extend and reshape existing ones on the board — including your enemy’s.
Since both tiles and combinations are shared, any modification to the board can also benefit your enemy.

Your enemies follow the same rules as you do — but some possess mystic powers that alter the flow of the fight and give them an advantage.
In response, you can obtain special tiles that enchant your combinations. These enchantments allow you to adapt, counter enemy powers, and even out your chances to win.
