It was an ordinary, quiet morning. Work dragged on slowly, until several miners suddenly begged to shut everything down — struck by a strange, unexplainable sickness. At first, everyone thought it was simple exhaustion. But the weariness soon turned to panic... and then to unrestrained madness.

A gunshot echoed across the yard. The deranged worker collapsed, lifeless — but it was already too late. The girl survived, though her injuries were horrific. Her grief-stricken father would have traded all his wealth for a single thing — a cure for his daughter.

None of that matters — heavy footsteps echo beyond the wall, and you know it’s time to get out.
