The Fibrous - Operation Reclaim

About the Game

A Third-Person (Over-the-shoulder) shooter/adventure game covering the story of a ex-marine who had a mission go sour and gave up the career. UNTIL - A meteor hits earth a few years later and fibrous-skinned aliens emerge from within and begin taking over Earth! Finick (The Ex-marine) is recruited by what's left of the military to help steal DNA-samples from the alien, coined - The Fibrous, due to their fiber-like appearance. Will you be able to help learn their origins, and weaknesses, and take back Earth? or let another mission go sour and lose your planet?

Developer's Timeline:

The game will originally release with ONLY the multi-player (Online singleplayer or multiplayer) functionality built. Therefore the price will be lowered accordingly. I am a single (fully employed) adult with children so this is really a passion project that will be worked on in my free-time and depending on the community it builds and demand for more? (I have high hopes I know) I plan on building a full-fledged single-player campaign rich with the actual lore of the aliens and our ex-marine, Finick. When this is done and the campaign is added, the price of the game will be adjusted to match the update. I do not plan to ever add in-game purchases or skins or anything of the sort, I want the game to be purchased and fully in-game unlockable items/story/lore.

Dev Notes:

I do plan on having full-controller support by time I release the game in alpha/beta

I do plan on the game having bugs that only you guys could help me find and fix

I DON'T plan on having this game done anytime soon (Multiplayer hopefully by end of 2026) (Campaign end of 2028? lol)
