Taikunda

About the Game

BUILD THE REFUGE. COMMAND THE ROUTE.

Taikunda is a single-player survival strategy game about a settlement that travels. Begin with a stolen Imperial mining ship and a handful of refugees. Build a City of Ships, carry its people across hostile sectors, and stay ahead of a galaxy collapsing behind you.

BUILD A CITY THAT MOVES

Turn one stolen ship into a mobile colony of connected platforms. Build homes, workshops, purifiers, foundries, hospitals, defences, and shipyards. Lay fusion lines, move workers and cargo by skiff, and keep the systems holding your people alive.

Your colony is your home, your fleet, and the thing that must survive the Crossing.

ONE RESERVE. TWO JOBS.

Fusion powers the city and moves it between sectors. Every furnace you light is distance you may not travel; every jump asks what the colony can endure without.

Secure resources, build reserves, ration under pressure, and decide when to grow—and when to run.

CROSS A DYING GALAXY

Chart a route across a procedurally generated campaign. Scan unknown sectors, salvage derelicts, trade, answer distress calls, establish footholds, and choose which dangers are worth confronting.

Collapse advances from the rim. Lost systems stay lost. Wait too long and the route ahead closes.

COMMAND THE FLEET

Lead Sloops, Brigantines, Galleons, and specialist craft through real-time naval battles in space. Form up, manoeuvre for firing arcs, manage independent broadsides, cripple systems, board enemy ships, and bring the survivors home.

GOVERN PEOPLE, NOT COUNTERS

Your colonists have names, families, jobs, health, and beliefs. Assign workers, provide housing and care, manage shortages, and answer incidents whose consequences can return cycles later.

You are not only deciding what survives. You are deciding what kind of society survives inside it.

FROM ESCAPE TO RESISTANCE

You begin as forgotten Imperial miners who stole the vessel at the centre of their exploitation. Escape becomes a journey through hostile fleets, desperate settlements, and the mystery behind the galaxy's collapse.

Every Crossing reshuffles its routes, resources, encounters, hazards, and opportunities. There is no perfect path—only the one your people can survive.

Build the refuge. Command the route. Create the Taikunda.
