Sylvaris: Black Reign is a fast-paced 2D action platformer with metroidvania elements.

STORY

Far beneath the surface, hidden behind walls of iron and endless machinery, entire communities live inside sealed worlds they believe are real.

Everything is controlled. Every routine, every resource, every cycle. Massive chains rise toward the surface, carrying what is produced below… and returning with just enough to keep the system running.

Driven by a growing sense that something isn’t right, Zen abandons the only world he has ever known and climbs into one of the chained cauldrons — the very system that has kept everyone trapped.

FAST-PACED COMBAT

Fight fast and stay aggressive.

Chain attacks, dash through enemies, and keep moving. The game rewards pressure — slow play will get you punished.

OVERLOAD SYSTEM

Turn your own health into power.

Activate Overload to sacrifice HP and push your abilities beyond their limits. Attacks become stronger, faster, and more destructive — but staying in this state will drain you.

Fight aggressively to recover health and stay alive.

Every ability changes in Overload, unlocking new forms and attack patterns.

PERK SYSTEM

Shape your own playstyle.

Unlock and equip perks to modify how you fight — increase speed, extend attacks, or change how abilities behave.

Combine perks to create your own build and adapt to different situations.
