About the Game

Bill wanted a quiet life: a house near the woods, mornings spent fishing, and a few people to share a beer with. Then come the noises at night, unexpected visitors, and figures between the trees.

The neighbors have a name for what's out there: Squallies. Some even laugh about them. You might want to take them seriously.

Explore the neighborhood, get to know the locals through conversations and phone messages, and notice what changes after dark. Go fishing, cook your catch, and spend an evening playing beer pong or darts at a house party. When the familiar turns dangerous, keep your flashlight close and find a way home.

Features

• Run. Hide. Creature encounters, tense chases, and hiding sequences.
  
• Pick your difficulty. Easy is story-focused, with gentler chases and hints turned on. Normal is the intended challenge. Hard takes away objectives and guidance.
  
• Optional mic-sensitive hiding. Loud real-world sounds can expose you. Playable without a microphone.

Quality of life

• Adjustable VHS filter and film grain. Each has its own slider, so the retro look can be as light or as heavy as you like.
  
• Checkpoint saves. Continue where you left off, or replay any checkpoint you've already reached.
