STEEL GULLET
About the Game
Welcome to STEEL GULLET!
The Earth's orbit has shifted.
The temperature outside is 120°C.
There is no longer any life outside.
Humanity has assembled a moving ark-city, the Colossus.
The Colossus is collecting the remains of civilization for self-sufficiency.
You have been assigned as an engineer to one of its Processing Units.
Responsibilities
Your task is to automate the transformation of an endless stream of random, mixed debris into organized materials, forms, and products required by G.R.I.D.
To do this, you will need to build complex conveyor systems and optimized transformation, separation, and aggregation chains.
Separation
Forget drilling rigs with perfectly sterile materials.
You must first separate the incoming stream of random debris consisting of different materials.
Separation is not magical filters; it is a complex chain of realistic physical converters and separators. You'll have to devise separation chains yourself, ones that may never have been conceived before.
Physics isn't just kinematics
STEEL GULLET doesn't have kinematics, but it does have temperature, density, elasticity, solubility, melting, and boiling.
You'll have to control the phase states of its components.
Concrete block? - Crush it!
Iron scrap? - Grind it into dust and filter it with a magnet!
Rubber tire? - Melt it and drain it!
And so on and so forth.
The factory must grow!
Expand the factory, speed it up, buy new facilities.
A large map and many different new resources will always present new challenges.
Research new machines and meet G.R.I.D. quotas
Become the center of a gripping confrontation
You'll be immersed in a fascinating political drama. You will have the opportunity to influence the course of the Freedom Party's struggle against the totalitarian G.R.I.D.
You can supply the Freedom Party with the resources they need, fueling the conflict and changing the situation.
So, without further ado, good luck in your service!
