About the Game

GAMEPLAY

• You play as a little bio-robot scout, exploring a mysterious and hostile planet, with 8-directional movement and a basic control scheme.

• Find alien plants and creatures to gain unique abilities, which help to survive and progress. But be careful; alien creatures can be hostile!

• Collect scraps and minerals to upgrade STEEB. Try out different builds and adapt while you play!

• Carefully track your Energy and Shields to survive the planet.

• Progress is saved in checkpoints. Difficulty can be adjusted.

• Find lost and broken STEEBs from previous expeditions, uncover their stories.

• Designed to play on Steam Deck™ or with controller, but also plays great on PC.

• New Game+, difficulty settings, and different builds to try for replayability!

LORE

• STEEB stands for Star-Travelling Explore 'n Evolve Bot. Humanity has developed STEEBs to sent out as probes to distant galaxies, in search of habitable planets. However, these planets may be harsh and hostile environments.

• The unique quality of STEEBs is their ability to use alien DNA-like samples. Once a sample is extracted from an alien plant-like or creature-like organism, the STEEB gains an ability. This ability is a tool that STEEBs can use to survive and adapt to the hostile planets.
