About the Game

Engage in Asynchronous Turn-Based Strategy!

Claim the map and cultivate fantastical mushrooms. Compete for dominance with whatever spores fly your way. Each tasty world (according to fungi) features a dynamic ecosystem of wind, events, resources and climate.

Campaign (missions)

Engage with the ‘Ancients’ in missions for knowledge. Uncover maps via a distinct fog-of-war style exploration and solve ecological challenges all the while trying to thrive on each novel world.

Each Ancient you find provides a special challenge, but you’ll need to prove yourself suitable for mutualistic rewards.

Inspired by real-world mycology and ecosystems

Developed by solo indie developer and mycology enthusiast Jake Collinge, the mechanics are inspired by real mushroom ecology:

  • Eat detritus ‘waste’ material

  • Parasitize opponent mushrooms

  • Grow above and below ground

  • Seek out Humus, Nitrogen and other resources

  • React to the environment: wind direction, humidity and soil quality

  • Defend your underground territory

  • Cut off opponent resources

  • …and much more
