Spirit Links

Spirit Links

About the Game

The Spiritual Realm is fracturing. Cursed souls slip through the cracks, seeking to devour the Orbs of Creation and plunge the world into nothingness. As an Orb‑Warden, you command elemental spirits, shape living labyrinths, and defend your Orb against the invading hordes.

Elementals are highly reactive: place matching spirits next to each other and they merge into divine beings or unleash powerful effect combinations.

Build living labyrinths to mislead the attackers. Discover hundreds of spirits — each with unique effects, costs, traits, rarities, sizes, shapes, and elements, from the humble water droplet to the legendary world‑ender.

Every run challenges you to design your own maze, assemble synergistic spirit teams, and adapt to enemies that fight back with their own elemental strengths and special abilities.

Choose your Warden, place your Orb, and defend it through increasingly challenging waves while managing energy, terrain, and the unique Might system that rewards thoughtful strategy over brute force.

Maze Building

You don’t place towers on fixed paths — you build the path itself. For this you need Spirit Links that have a very destinct role in the game. They create barriers to force attackers along paths, boost connected spirits and change targeting behavior.

Adjacency Bonuses

Each Spirit has Stars that grant powerful effects to any Spirit placed on the matching tiles. With hundreds of possible effects, every run unfolds differently and opens up new synergies to explore. These bonuses can dramatically change your playstyle and reward clever positioning.

You’ll also discover Talismans—rare items with extremely powerful effects that can define entire strategies. And Legendary Spirits possess unique Superpowers that you activate manually during battle, giving you decisive control in critical moments.

Elemental Identities Instead of Generic Towers

Each of the eight elements has a strong mechanical identity:

  • Fire: Cooldown / Burn

  • Stone: Critical Hits

  • Sand: Armor Piercing / Slow

  • Ash: Barrier Damage

  • Swamp: Critical Damage / Poison

  • Water: Might

  • Fog: Damage / Resist

Every element feels distinct, creating deep build variety and natural synergies.

Terrain and Transformation

Elemental spirits can transform terrain . Terrain becomes a strategic layer that shapes your maze and your damage types.

While you can acquire spirits and terrain of the four basic elements (Fire, Water, Nature, and Stone) using energy, the four higher elements (Ash, Steam, Swamp, and Sand) are only accessible through transformations.

     Element1 + Element2 → New Element + Effect

     Stone + Stone → Sand + Quicksand

     Nature + Fire → Ash + Flames

     Fire + Water → Steam + Fog

Water + Nature → Swamp + Poisonous Gas

Might

Most attacks and effects consume Might, a shared resource that regenerates over time. If you lack Might, actions won’t trigger.

This prevents spam, encourages planning, and rewards efficient maze design.

Cycles

Spirits interact through cycles. Your buffs reset to zero once they reach certain thresholds, which can trigger especially powerful effects, but leave you weaker afterwards:

  • Heat (Cooldown) → Overheat

  • Focus (Might) → Focusburst

Some Spirits transform into new forms when these cycles trigger. Activating Superpowers also causes a Spirit to shift into a different state. These cycles create phases of strength and vulnerability, opening the door to powerful builds and deep synergies.
