About the Game
You sit at a desktop. The clock is real. The browser is open.
This is a game about the person who procrastinates. Not you, him. His hand is on the mouse, and the hand has its own habits. It drifts toward the browser when you're idle. It trembles when you reach for your work. It snaps back the first time you try to start.
Nothing in the browser asks you for anything. The feed auto-scrolls, comments pile up, and the only voice is the quiet one he talks to himself in. "I can just finish work in 30 mins, let's play a bit more", "I feel languishing, should this be off day?", "I wanna play game."
But five people do ask. They're in the feed, the community tab and the DMs, and they keep asking while you're gone. Answering costs you seconds and buys back something the scrolling spends, because the X in the corner isn't a button, it's a resource. It erodes every time you stay, and only a deliberate reply restores it. Silence buys nothing.
When you finally take it, the escape is a platformer, darkened by exactly how long you scrolled. Five minutes and a sharp exit → bright, clear-headed. Fifteen minutes → you're in the dark, and he wants to go back.
Win, and you begin working. That's all — a beginning. Discipline is never finished, and the browser is still sitting there, silent. There are multiple endings, yet none of them celebrate.
