Sketch Defense
About the Game
Draw a castle. Add a few towers. Try to keep the angry fruit out.
Sketch Defense is a tower defense game where you draw your defenses straight onto the battlefield. Follow the little drawing cards to sketch towers, walls, traps and spells, then watch them get to work. Your castle is your drawing too, wonky bits included.
Good plan. Questionable penmanship.
The game grades your drawings. Neater shapes make stronger defenses and earn extra perks. Rough ones can still work, but they may have the occasional embarrassing malfunction. The red pen will have something to say about it.
Place towers around the bends, draw walls to give enemies a longer walk, and upgrade your favorites. When things get messy, a well-placed spell can help. A drawing the game cannot recognise costs no ink, so have another go.
Bring a friend. Draw them a problem.
Doodle Duel is online 1v1 on one shared battlefield. Draw your army, defend your half, and spend ink sending your little creations towards the other castle. You can see your rival drawing and building in real time. Very nice tower they have there. Shame about the army heading towards it.
Join a friend with a room code, try quick match, or practise against the computer. Choose from six arenas, including maps with reversing conveyors, rising ink and gusts of wind.
A whole notebook to defend
- 20 campaign pages with different routes, enemies, bosses and moving hazards. Fruit, bugs, sea creatures, space doodles and more have apparently all taken issue with your castle.
- Normal and Hard difficulties, with separate scores and up to three stars per page on each.
- Towers, traps, walls and spells to draw, with new choices as you work through the campaign.
- Five cosmetic pens to earn with stars, from Glitter to Galaxy. A little sparkle for your questionable architecture.
- Doodle Dojo to practise your drawings in peace.
- Pause, speed controls and optional slow motion while drawing in the campaign. Save an unfinished progression battle and come back to it.
Play with a mouse, or draw with touch and a stylus on compatible devices. The solo campaign works offline. Online duels need an internet connection.
