Sill Sticks
Sill Sticks
About the Game
A slacker has moved into the corner of your desktop
Sill Sticks is an idle app where a stick figure takes up residence on the window edges of your desktop—just sit back, watch, and enjoy. The star of the show is "Bota." Sloppy, forever slacking off, a bit of a handful, and a bit cute—a stick figure you somehow can't bring yourself to dislike. He's got the will but not the way: he grumbles the whole time, then slacks off anyway. He looks up to cats, has a sweet tooth, holes up the moment he gets the chance, and melts away hours on "just one more round" of a game. Catch a glimpse of his mutterings in the gaps between your work. That's all this app is.
Features
- He talks to himself, in context — Bota mutters away loosely depending on the time of day, the day of the week, and how long you've left things running. In the morning, "Still sleepy..."; late at night, "Go to bed already... me too, though." The combinations spin up fresh turns of phrase every day.
- Just peek in — Bota has no idea you're there. Talk to him and he won't answer; he won't order you around either. That's exactly what makes eavesdropping on his honest thoughts so funny.
- He never gets in the way — Clicks pass straight through to the window below, and he never shows up in your taskbar. He strolls along window edges, clambers up them, and now and then plays at special-move poses or warps around for fun.
- Light, safe, offline — No communication and no AI while it runs. He never peeks at what's on your desktop, and never sends anything anywhere.
