Shrouded Lands

Shrouded Lands

About the Game

Three mystics are leaving the Last shelter of humanity and entering demon-held lands, claimed through centuries of war. Guide them through challenging combat using diverse tactical approaches. Explore harsh regions in search of ancient relics, supplies, ingredients, and rare armor.

Combat

Round structure. Combat rounds have two phases: Planning and Resolution. During Planning, each unit plans an action; during Resolution, those actions unfold - and the battlefield becomes alive with screeching blades, blood and fear.

Understanding the situation. Knowing your enemies’ next move is key to effective fighting. Force them to plan before you, so you catch a glimpse of your enemies’ intent. Or study them to know their future moves - each enemy type follows its own logic, based on the flow of combat.

Torments. Units can enter one of three Torment states - Dread, Fury, or Madness - each limiting available planning actions. Use special actions to exert mental influence on your enemies to disrupt their strategies.

Journey

Levels. Story-driven journey triggers hybrid level generation, with each terrain shaped by distinct logic.

Path. You will choose your path under harsh conditions: growing fatigue, limited supplies for recovery, enemies all around - and the unknown ahead.

Fatigue and rest. Party fatigue grows with every step, weakening your mystics in combat. Search for supplies and set up camps to reduce fatigue, heal, and recover.

Characters & Builds

The Demonologist, the Exorcist, and the Witch unite to face the dangers of the Shrouded Lands - though each has their own reason for leaving humanity’s last shelter.

Armor. Although you control only three characters, the Armor-Skill system allows for diverse builds and flexible strategies. Each character can equip different armor, which defines their appearance and available skills - but their core stats are not affected by changing armor.

Skill. Each time a skill is used, it boosts the character’s core stats. These stats determine how skills from different armors can be upgraded, with multiple upgrade options available for each.
