About the Game

This city belongs to those who keep silent. Silence was the one thing I could never keep.

SHORAPAN — is a dark parable of a city beneath a blood-colored sky, and of people who grew used to it, as people grow used to anything. Here they pray to the Mother, pay in fear, and live by seals — scraps of paper that decide whether you live or not.







That evening began like a hundred before it: rain against the window, fire in the hearth, wicker under my hands. I didn't yet know it would be the last of its kind.

Made entirely by hand:

• Painting — oil backgrounds, frame by frame.

• Characters — hand-painted, not built from ready-made parts.

• Animation — handmade: fire, smoke, rain, shadows.

• Sound — original sound design and music.

• Voice — living voices of the characters.

What awaits you:

• Sink into dense, somber prose and a slowly unfolding mystery.

• Quiet rooms full of things with a past — examine them, touch them, look closer.

• A slow story where what's left unsaid matters as much as what's spoken.

• Conversations where a single word changes everything — and choices you'll have to answer for.

• A glimpse of the crimson sky through old glass — and the first doubt of what it hides.

• Don't ask about the crimson sky. Though you'll ask anyway.

Inspired by the paintings of Beksiński, the cosmic horror of Lovecraft, the dark prose of Dostoevsky, and the darkness of Berserk.
