Scrapline
About the Game
Scrapline is a vehicular combat roguelite for 1 to 4 drivers. Drive fast, drift hard and aim anywhere: your main gun goes where you point it, and every other gun you bolt on fires by itself. Weld the wreckage of your enemies onto your chassis, level up in the middle of the fight, and take a rusty hatchback through six gang territories to the warlords who run them, alone or with up to three friends.

- Six colossal warlords, each with its own entrance: the Juggernaut, a bucket-wheel excavator, tears in through the arena fence; the Hive Carrier drops from the sky; the Siege Engine bursts out of the ground; the Road Train steams in on its own rails; the Vulture gunship comes down out of the clouds; the Refinery crawls up out of the sand and sets the arena on fire.
- Take them apart piece by piece. Every warlord is built from breakable parts: shoot one off and its attack goes with it. Down the Vulture's rotors and it falls out of the sky.
- When a warlord goes down, it goes down properly: parts tear away, fireballs roll, and the camera stays for the wreck.

- Every run draws three of six territories, each held by its own gang: Rust Flats, Ash Yards, Black Basin, Salt Flats, Red Canyon and the Oil Fields.
- Each one fights back in its own way: dust devils that throw cars, swinging magnet cranes, searchlights that call in shells, slick salt, rockfalls, and oil pools that go up in flames.
- 11 raider types, from chasers and swarms to bikes that scatter caltrops, gyrocopters that dive-bomb and burner cars that hose you with fire. Elites carry affixes: shielded, magnetic, splitting, mending and more.
- Road events break into the fight: a named Bounty Target making a run for it, a loot truck, an ambush, a scrap storm.

- Arcade handling built for drifting: hold the handbrake, flick into the slide, link one drift into the next and kick out of it with a burst of speed.
- Speed is armour. The faster you go, the less the raiders' hits hurt, so nitro, ramps and hops keep you alive as well as fast.
- Smash straight through the clutter, launch off ramps, and flip back onto your wheels with a tap.

- Your main gun follows the right stick or the mouse, all the way round the car, and fires when you pull the trigger. The sights lock on once a raider is inside them and stay with it.
- Every other gun you bolt on fires on its own within its mount's arc: flamethrowers up front, sawblades on the flanks, mines off the back.
- Prefer to just drive? Switch on auto-fire.

- Every gun kicks: barrels recoil on springs, muzzles flash, brass flies, and raiders jolt when the rounds land.
- Warlords slam the ground and it ruptures outward in a wall of dust. Shockwaves, airstrikes and EMPs hit just as hard.
- Full controller haptics: on a DualSense the throttle stiffens with speed, the brake chatters in a drift and every shot kicks in the triggers. Xbox and other pads rumble with every hit, landing and nitro kick.

- 1 to 4 players in online co-op over Steam. Invite friends from the game's own friends list and roll out together.
- The raiders spread their attention across the whole crew, scrap is shared, and the crew votes on the road ahead.
- Get wrecked and your crew can revive you on the move: circle your husk and it rebuilds, no stopping required.

- Every kill feeds one crew level. Each level-up hands every driver a new gun, a gun level or a passive, bolted on right there in the fight.
- Find the same gun twice and it levels up, to level 5: harder hits, faster fire and extra shots.
- Elites and warlords drop crates: arsenal crates carry guns, sky crates carry abilities: Airstrike, EMP, Shockwave and Repair.
- 40 items across weapons, modifiers, chassis parts, triggers and curses.

- Wanted: ten heat levels, one more for every win. Each adds a rule and raises the Bounty, from elites with two affixes to every road becoming Never Stop. Win at ten and you're Public Enemy.
- The Weekly Run: one seed, one car and one heat level for everyone, a fresh one each week, with a Steam leaderboard.
- Beat the last warlord and Keep Driving: the run is banked and rolls on into new territories, the warlords tougher every loop.

- 5 chassis, each with its own handling and mount layout: Hatchback, Van, Buggy, Truck and the Wreck.
- Two-tone paint from 26 colours, 13 finishes, 44 decals (some of them animated), 59 themed wheels, and front and rear bumpers.
- Gameplay unlocks gameplay: every achievement pays out, in Bounty, a car, a part or an ability. The shop sells looks, never raw power.
