SCP-939: With Many Voices

SCP-939: With Many Voices

About the Game

Investigate a deceptive, unclassified threat in this atmospheric first-person survival horror thriller, featuring a dark and isolated SCP universe setting.

You are an SCP Foundation field agent deployed to an isolated sector in post-Soviet territory. The Foundation's Analytics Department has no data regarding the nature of the entity. Your objective is to go into the epicenter of the anomaly, determine its life cycle, identify vulnerabilities, and find a way to survive.

ACCESS LEVEL: 3

OBJECT STATUS: Unclassified

INCIDENT CLASS: Active. Pending data collection.

DIRECTIVE: Conduct a threat assessment.

OPERATION PROTOCOLS:

  • Diegetic Interface: The game completely lacks a classic user interface (HUD). Document handling, evidence analysis, navigation, and inventory management are all conducted through the agent's physical field equipment in real time. Every attempt to access data requires you to divert attention from your surroundings, leaving you completely vulnerable.

  • Acoustic Camouflage: Primary environmental analysis indicates that the entity is likely blind and hunts via echolocation. Your safety directly depends on the level of noise you produce. Control the weight of your footsteps, mind the surface types, and carefully manage your physical interactions with the environment.

  • Anomalous Audio Mimicry: Anomalous acoustic phenomena have been recorded: exact vocal reproductions of individuals listed as missing are being detected in the incident zone. It is unknown whether this is residual background noise from the incident or a deliberate baiting tactic. Exercise extreme caution when investigating sound sources.

  • Temporal Escalation: Time is a critical factor. The longer you hesitate, the more the sector degrades: the disappearance of the local population, the blocking of safe routes, and the rapid escalation of the threat.

  • Field Research (Data Collection): You are entering unknown territory. Study archival records, question the residents, analyze disappearance locations, and deduce the entity's behavioral patterns on your own. Your tactical advantage during the inevitable direct contact depends heavily on the quality of the information gathered.
