Scared Numbers
About the Game
Scared Numbers is an atmospheric puzzle where the same numbers can be both the right answer and a mistake — depending on the order.
Select numbers on the board, complete task conditions, build sums, and solve formulas in a game where logic meets constant tension. The further you go, the more demanding the rules become — sometimes finding the right combination is enough, and sometimes the order of selection is what decides it.
Every correct solution brings a sense of control. Every mistake disrupts your rhythm, raises the pressure, and reminds you: guessing is not enough here. You need to read the conditions, think ahead, and quickly understand why the same set of numbers can lead to success just as easily as failure.
Scared Numbers is built for players who enjoy puzzles with a distinct character: approachable at the start, but increasingly challenging with each new challenge. Adjust the difficulty, control hint behavior, and choose the intensity of visual effects — from a restrained presentation to full CRT/glitch aesthetics. Atmospheric music and sound design deepen your focus and immersion.
Why Play
Easy to grasp, harder to master — simple rules at the start, but formulas, conditions, and sequences make every step more demanding.
Mistakes carry weight — the number of attempts depends on difficulty, but every wrong answer hits hard regardless.
A satisfying sense of progress — from quick intuitive moves to careful analysis of more complex conditions.
Flexible tension — adjust attempts, difficulty, and hint timing to match your playstyle.
Striking atmosphere — CRT/glitch visuals, a tense mood, and sound that pulls you in deeper.
Mistakes that land — not just "wrong answer", but part of an audio-visual pressure that makes the right solution feel even better.
If you enjoy puzzles where simple rules turn into a tense intellectual challenge, Scared Numbers is worth your time.
