Savior Syndrome: The Crimson Sun
About the Game

Savior Syndrome — an isometric noir RPG detective game with psychological duels and a deep story, set in a collapsing world of grimy biopunk.
You are Isaac Lang, a private detective from the slums of the city-state Jars, where scientists, clones, mutants and cults fight to survive. Isaac’s past is broken, and his mind is a battlefield between guilt and the urge to help others. But can he save everyone if he can’t even save himself?
Create a unique personality for your hero by developing Jungian archetypes — the Mask, the Shadow, the Anima and the Animus. Use these traits to influence people, uncover their motives and break down their psychological defenses. In return you will unlock truly unique story paths.
Uncover disappearance cases, conduct interrogations, engage in psychological duels, and decide who you will become — a savior, a killer, or someone finally able to let go of the past.

Jars is a biopunk megacity where pharma corporations and religious orders divide control over what’s left of humanity. Cloning, gene editing and memory replacement are allowed here. People rent out their bodies by choice. Conscience is cheaper than a dose of designer medicine.

Investigate, take bribes, pray, kill, save. Every action leaves a mark on the hero’s mind and on the city’s people. You can travel the path from cynical detective to messiah or to ruthless avenger — but remember: your psychological wounds are your main tool.

Dive into an interactive investigation: interrogate suspects, collect evidence and connect the facts on your investigation board.
Change the course of the story: your choices and how you roleplay Isaac affect how the world reacts. Expect hard moral decisions, haunted characters and unexpected twists.
Enjoy the gritty atmosphere of a dark biopunk city full of cultists, clones, mutants and street gangs.
Engage in psychological duels that require you to find the mental keys to each opponent.
