About the Game

The clapper breaks the silence of the long night. You will take on the role of a night watchman in the late Qing Dynasty, holding a lantern to patrol the ancient city at the boundary between yin and yang. Entrusted with the responsibility of "expelling evil and upholding justice", you need to traverse eight locations—alleyways, city gates, county yamen, grain depots, commercial streets, markets, bridgeheads, and lane entrances—during the cold nights from the third watch to the fifth watch, investigating 120 hidden abnormal phenomena.

Patrol the Cold Night, Explore Eight Realms

From the quieting commercial streets to the gloomy grain depots, from the heavily guarded city gates to the winding lane entrances, each scene holds unique mysteries. Shadow flickers in the moonlit alleyways, and strange sounds linger in the deserted markets. The distinct atmosphere of each location delivers an immersive night exploration experience.

Evil Shadows, 120 Bizarre Occurrences

120 elaborately designed abnormal events are scattered across the city. They may be flickering will-o'-the-wisps, automatically opening and closing doors and windows, resentful spirits attached to artifacts, or wandering lonely ghosts. You must use a compass to navigate and talismans to exorcise evil, judge the true form of evil spirits from clues, and resolve crises time and again with your unique skills.

Guide by Lantern Light, Guard the Night

There are no fixed linear tasks. You can freely plan your patrol route. Will you prioritize investigating abnormalities around the county yamen, or delve into lane entrances to solve long-standing unjust cases? Every choice will affect the peace of the ancient city. Only with courage, caution, and the ability to distinguish good from evil can you banish all evil and let the townsfolk sleep soundly before dawn breaks.
