Welcome to academia. You're a freshly hired "green pepper" (young faculty member), dreaming of changing the world with scientific research—but first, you have to survive.

• Build Your "Sweatshop" Lab

 Start from an empty room, purchase everything from computers to beds. Optimize the layout? No—you're actually managing your students' emotions, fatigue, and gossip networks.

• Mentor (or Exploit) Your Students: Each student has unique skills, interests, and a private life. They'll fall in love, break up, get caught mining cryptocurrency on the lab servers, or even end up in the hospital after a fall. You're their supervisor, and also their babysitter.

• Choose Between "Publishing Trash" and Your Conscience: Chase quick and easy "Rubbish Papers" for fast graduation, or stake your career on tackling the ultimate scientific challenge? Funding, publication metrics, ethics—every choice you make leads to a different ending.
