About the Game

Roverbound is a first-person survival and base-building game set on a cold, nearly lifeless planet. Stranded with limited oxygen and little protection, you must gather what you can, assemble a carrier, and turn it into a mobile home built to cross the wasteland.

BUILD A BASE THAT MOVES

Start with a carrier and build outward. Add floors, walls, doors, storage and living space. Install batteries, solar panels, heaters, scanners, floodlights, drills and the machinery needed for crafting and research.

Keep your vehicle compact and efficient, or expand it into a rolling industrial settlement. Every structure adds mass and every working machine draws power. A larger base gives you more space and capability, but demands more from its engines, wheels and energy supply.

MOVE BEFORE THE LAND RUNS DRY

Resources are scarce, and the materials you need are rarely found somewhere safe. Leave the protection of your vehicle to scavenge surface deposits, drill deeper reserves and search dangerous regions for rarer materials.

Load everything aboard, choose your next destination and take your entire base with you.

KEEP THE LIGHTS ON

Generate and store enough power to drive and operate your equipment. Maintain your oxygen, temperature and health. Build sealed, heated rooms before the cold and poisoned air catch up with you.

PUSH INTO THE UNKNOWN

Research new technology, craft better equipment and rebuild your carrier around each new challenge. Cross fields of cryolava, toxic cloud banks and oxygen-starved reaches in search of what you need to continue.

And when the desolation proves less empty than it first appeared, be ready to defend what you have built.
