About the Game

• Dig, Toss, and Romp with Rondo!

  • Rondo’s Romp is a colorful 2D platformer where digging is just as important as jumping. As Rondo, a cheerful Akita dog, you can dig anywhere on natural terrain to uncover items, power-ups, and throwable objects.

  • Those objects—from clumps of dirt to bouncy balls—each behave differently when thrown. Some roll, some bounce, some fly in a straight line. Mastering their unique physics will help you pop balloons, break blocks, activate switches, and outsmart enemies. You can even grab certain stunned foes and throw them to clear obstacles or deal with other enemies.

• An Adventure Across 8 Whimsical Worlds

  • As you explore the game's 8 interconnected worlds (1 in the demo), you’ll meet friendly characters who offer tips, side challenges, or access to shops where you can spend each world’s unique coins to buy useful items, powerful throwable objects, or special headgear that grants new abilities. Your inventory lets you store these items and equip them whenever you need a boost or a clever solution to a tricky puzzle.

  • Scattered throughout each world are elemental gems. Collect enough, and you’ll unlock that world’s lighthouse level: a high-stakes challenge that ends with a boss battle against a member of the Iguana Armada. Defeat them, relight the lighthouse beacon, and bring its world back into balance.

• A Full-Featured Demo

  • This demo includes 1 world with 9 levels, 1 boss fight, and 3 shops. The levels are varied and fully showcase the unique gameplay mechanics of Rondo's Romp. Join Rondo on his adventure and help him relight the first lighthouse!
