About the Game
Aim your shot and launch your ball into waves of enemies in Rogue Ricochet. Every weapon you mount changes the physics, effects, and damage of the ball. Keep it in play for as long as you can to collect XP, Gold, and deal as much damage as possible. It's inevitable however that you'll become overrun or miss the ball, and this is where Rogue Ricochet lets you between volleys, plan the next attack and gain the upper hand once again in the deckbuilder.
Between volleys you spend your resources to draw cards and sequence them perfectly to better suit the enemies you face on the changing battlefield. Every bounce counts as you clear dungeons, collect gold, and explore locations in search of the greatest high-scoring build.
Between encounters, explore a procedurally generated world full of kingdoms, dungeons, settlements, and the unknown. Collect quests and upgrade your Ball Loadout and your Deck to face more enemies and larger foes.

EQUIP YOUR BALL
Forget simple stat buffs. In Rogue Ricochet, you physically attach weapons to your ball!
Mount swords, spears, magic staffs, buzzsaws and more at precise angles onto your ball. Every weapon changes the physics. Heavy weapons pull your trajectory wide. Light weapons keep you nimble. Each brings its own damage types, weight profile, status effects, crit chances. That's not all though, unique weapons also add unique cards to your deck that to synergise with the action on the battlefield. The endless combinations of broken builds are yours to discover.
Build and rotate between multiple ball loadouts, each with its own weapon configuration and cooldown. Craft a devastating heavy-hitter, a status-spreading menace, a precision assassin, or something entirely your own.
Weapons, Armour and your deck degrade with use along your adventures. Rest at settlements to repair, replace, and rethink your approach.
Fight Smart, Hit Hard
Combat rewards precision, timing, and split-second decisions.
Bullet Time kicks in when the ball approaches. The world slows to a crawl, giving you a heartbeat to position, aim, and strike.
Jolt your ball with a perfectly-timed paddle lunge. Nail the timing and send it screaming back into the horde.
Melee Attack enemies that get too close. Your paddle is a weapon too.
Aim with intention. Angle your paddle toward your cursor and turn every bounce into a calculated strike.
Clear encounters fast to earn higher ranks and bigger rewards. Every second counts.
EXPLORE A LIVING MAP
The worlds in Rogue Ricochet are not on a fixed map. It grows as your character grows.
Each region you visit belongs to kingdoms that range from ungoverned wilds to vast empires. You never know what lies beyond the next border.
Navigate the map and plan routes through battlefields and rest stops, or just wander into the unknown and see what you find. The terrain and biomes shape the world and encounters, with its own enemies, bosses, challenges and dangers.
More biomes and types of regions are planned to be added before release, including the regions to dynamically interact with each other depending on their type and what situation you as a player have left them in as you ricochet between them.
Play Your Cards Right
When your ball hits the back wall, time freezes it's to plan your next cause of action.
Welcome to the Card Phase. Survey the chaos, study your hand, and set up your next play. Queue spells, buffs, strikes, and more. Then launch your ball and watch them fire off in sequence as it tears through the enemy ranks.
In Rogue Ricochet you spend your levels to draw cards from you deck, the higher the level you spend to draw the better buffed the card. However once used your cards are spent for that journey. So choose wisely as you will need to find ways to keep your deck synergising from one encounter to another lest you're overrun. Rest at Inns or do side quests on your journey to ensure you don't end up running out of cards, balls and options.
The card pool will grow significantly throughout Early Access, with new spell types, deeper synergies, rare discoveries, and much more.
