Rise of the Insurged

Rise of the Insurged is a dark medieval-fantasy strategy and management game that blends recruitment, team progression, turn-based battles, and choice-driven narrative missions.

You play as a former slave willing to do anything to take revenge on the Queen. To overthrow the kingdom’s rule, you must build your own company of adventurers, forge alliances, gather resources… and survive irreversible decisions.

Manage your Adventurer Company

Recruit mercenaries and shape a squad that fits your playstyle:

  • Character training and progression

  • Stat growth: Strength, Dexterity, Wisdom

  • Risk management: every adventurer matters… and can be lost

⚔️ Permanent death: if an adventurer dies in a mission or in the arena, they are gone forever.

Three Complementary Game Modes

Each mode supports your growth and your rebellion.

1) Arena — Turn-Based Combat
Fight opponents to earn gold and strengthen your company.

2) Magical Duel — Turn-Based Elemental Battles
Craft your spells by combining the four elements:

  • Example: Fire + Water = Steam (and many more!)
    Adapt your combinations to counter enemies and optimize your tactics.

3) Missions — Interactive Narrative + Combat
A Visual Novel-inspired mode featuring:

  • Dialogues, scenes, decisions, and battles

  • Your choices impact the story and future events

  • Every mission has a time limit

⏳ A missed or failed mission has consequences: executions, destroyed villages, broken alliances…
If you return later, you will witness the outcome of your absence or failure.

A Rebellion Written in Blood

The further you progress, the more your influence grows:
alliances, resources, a stronger company, political conflicts… until you’re finally ready to challenge the Queen.

In Rise of the Insurged, you don’t play as an invincible hero —
you are a war leader. And every choice leaves a mark.
