About the Game

Abandoned and alone at a highway rest stop in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains, the night breeze begins to caress your cheek. The scent of wet pine tells you you’re home. The taste of iron in your mouth reminds you that you can’t stay here forever.

Rest Stop is a first-person psychological horror experience.

 Play as Lia, a young woman who finds herself unexpectedly stranded at a highway rest stop deep in the Appalachian mountains. Find your missing friend, avoid unsettling travelers, and figure out how to get home before something terrible happens to either of you. You can’t stay here forever.

Talk with others

There's other people passing through the rest stop. Some of them might be able to help you. Others have their own destinations to worry about. Some of them should be avoided at all costs.

Find a way forward

Find a way out of here that causes the least amount of pain possible.
