Reloader: subject_alpha
About the Game
Reloader: subject_alpha is a tactical action game built around the core concept of “Bullet Counting · Reload Action.”
You play as an agent with legendary marksmanship who has lost all memory of how to reload, deployed into intense close-quarters combat (CQB) scenarios.
In this game, accuracy is not what keeps you alive.
Inserting magazines, racking the slide, checking the chamber, remembering your remaining rounds, and choosing the right moment to reload — the tension begins not with the trigger, but with the reload.
Inspired by gun action films and the Greatest indie game Receiver, the game combines realistic firearm manipulation with cinematic intensity.
Features
Full Manual Firearm Operation
Manually perform every step: insert magazines, rack the slide, and chamber a round yourself.
Weapon Reliability System
Low-condition firearms can malfunction unexpectedly. Identify the failure type and execute the correct clearance procedure under pressure.
True Bullet Counting
No HUD will tell you how many rounds remain. Keep track mentally and decide when to reload.
Realistic Stopping Power
Combat is built around practical ballistic impact and lethality rather than exaggerated health systems, encouraging tactical engagement.
Retro × Futuristic Visual Style
A distinctive aesthetic that blends detailed pixel art characters with dynamic, modern lighting effects.
