About the Game

On a certain day in the year of LP 2, the great eastern country of Leazas fell after being invaded by an elite force from the militaristic northern country of Helman led by Imperial Prince Patton. With Patton's forces are supreme beings of great power, who are unable to be wounded by any of Leazas's strongest warriors—fiends. The castle was occupied in a matter of moments, and Leazas's ruling monarch, Princess Lia, was taken captive.

Is this the end of Leazas?

As the mighty nation becomes a thing of the past in but a single night, a lone ninja flees the castle, taking with her one of the country's national treasures and a simple message from the princess. Entrusted with the nation's last shred of hope, she heads to the Free City of Ice in the west.

Travel from the Free Cities to the Kingdom of Leazas, liberating every settlement along the way from the invading Helmanian army. Progress across the world map, clearing dungeons, fighting deadly bosses, and meeting a sizable cast of characters.

Visit cities and speak with their residents to advance the story, then purchase items to help on your adventure. Recruit and level up new party members as you go, each with their own unique skills. Choose the right party for the job based on enemy weaknesses and resistances. Dungeons are represented by cards, and you must choose your cards carefully to find treasure and avoid traps, because a card could be hiding anything when it's face down.

Reworked and Rebuilt

This modern remake of a timeless classic features updated visuals, a revamped battle system that adds skills and party tactics from Rance 01, and for the first time in the Rance series, voice acting!

A World of Cards

Other games might have you attacking or summoning creatures with cards, but in Rance 03, the very ground you walk on is made up of cards. Will you choose the correct path and make it safely to your destination, or will you be dealt a bad hand?
