Psynostic is a game that lets you step into the shoes of a psychologist. Find the words to make your patient speak and reach the correct diagnostis. You have a full liberty of questions available thanks to the LLM (Large Language Model).

Use your diagnostic book to have guideline about potential questions and to keep track of your suspected        diagnostic.

Psynostic use new AI model to offer the best gaming experience. Experience the thrill of a real consultation where no two conversations are the same. The LLM allows full liberty for the player : There are multiple ways to get info about the patient and conduct a diagnostic like in real life. 

What is LLM ?

LLM stand for Large Language Model and is behind every recent chatbot like ChatGPT. Basicaly it performs text completion.

Psynostic also use the Whisper model which is the best speech-to-text available to make interaction more fluid.

Psynostic utilizes a local Large Language Model (LLM) and the Whisper speech-to-text model to provide dynamic, unscripted conversations. Unlike cloud-based AI, all processing happens directly on your hardware to ensure privacy and offline play.

GPU Acceleration & Compatibility To ensure a fluid gameplay experience and fast response times from the AI characters, a compatible GPU is highly recommended.

• Automatic Optimization: The game will automatically attempt to utilize your GPU if compatibility is detected.

• Hardware Requirements: While the game can run on CPU, we strongly recommend an NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER or equivalent for the best performance.

• Compatibility Check: Please refer to the official documentation to verify if your specific GPU is supported for local LLM acceleration.

What this means for you:

• Performance: If you use a compatible GPU, the AI responses will be nearly instantaneous.

• CPU Fallback: If no compatible GPU is found, the game will run on your processor, which may result in longer pauses between the patient's responses.

• System Load: Running a local LLM requires significant processing power and available VRAM/RAM
