About the Game

Pocket Aquarium takes the best of virtual pet games from the 90s and early 2000s and adds a unique twist with wild minigames. A collection of cute reef fish await, with minigames ranging from juggling in a circus to blasting aliens in space.

Expand Your Collection

At the beginning, the Clownfish and Blue Tang will be available to play with and care for, but more is always better! Play games, earn money, and visit the pet store to buy supplies and eventually more fish. You may find surprises waiting even after your tank is full! 

Minigame Madness

Spend time with your fish to keep them happy and healthy! Each fish has its own way of play. From the Clownfish's smorgasbord of circus performances to seahorse races and epic battles in space, there's tons of retro fun to be had.

Customize and Accessorize

There's a mix of options to help your aquarium feel yours. In addition to unlockable skins for your tank, you can also swap out the artwork for the sidebars to suit your style.

Those pixels aren't just for looks! Pocket Aquarium is an authentic Game Boy Color game that was created using GBStudio. The Steam version of Pocket Aquarium is packaged with GodotBoy. For players, that means authentic retro gameplay accompanied by an authentic retro soundtrack.
