About the Game

The Kingdom is in shambles. The crown is missing, the board is broken, and the people have splintered into rival factions. As the once (and future!) Queen, you must gather your forces and journey across the shattered realm. Fight your battles on procedurally-generated boards with terrain, cover, and loot. Gather new allies and equip your pieces – and take back the crown, one square at a time.

• Every board is procedurally generated – not just an 8x8 grid! – and every new campaign brings a fresh overworld map and a new combination of enemies and loot.

• Avoid sacrificing your pieces, or they’ll suffer permadeath! You can recruit new pieces along the way, or equip pieces with armor & artifacts that make them more powerful or resilient.

• Battle multiple opponents, each with their own AI style, unique abilities, and valuable gear to loot.

• Fight your way across each of six factions' unique campaigns. Every campaign has a distinct overworld map, with new rules and strategic concerns.

• Recruit new pieces from the armies you defeat, and equip them with loot to customize their movement and attacks.

• Field powerful ranged-attack pieces, and use cover and terrain to shield your own pieces from enemies.
