Penguin, but why?

Penguin, but why?

About the Game

This game was born from an image that has become a part of internet culture — a lone penguin leaving its colony and walking into the endless icy wastelands toward gigantic, almost unreachable mountain peaks. Online, this image is often seen as a symbol of nihilism, loneliness, or a meaningless journey toward death. But the game is built on a completely different interpretation of that story.

There will always be voices around you trying to pull you back: some out of fear, others out of envy, and others simply because they themselves stopped believing in something greater long ago.

But can you make it through all that pressure, refuse to let other people’s words become your own thoughts, and still keep moving forward — toward what you truly want?

But can you keep going even when dangers, mistakes, and moments lie ahead where the whole world seems to be convincing you to stop?

If the answer is yes — then go. Don’t give up. Find the strength within yourself to keep moving forward, even if the unknown awaits you, even if you are afraid. Only you are meant to live your life, not someone else.

The story becomes not a tale about death or nihilism, but a reflection on human life itself. About why people leave their «colonies», why they strive toward impossible peaks, and what exactly drives them to continue the journey, even when all that surrounds them is cold and emptiness.
