About the Game

A Clash of Arcade Classics 

Pac-Snec is the ultimate high-score hunting challenge of two beloved arcade genres into a single, intensely replayable experience. Grab that nostalgia and hold it close as you deep dive into a retro-inspired world where every move counts and the maze is your hunting ground.

Core Gameplay & Mechanics 

You control the Snec, a snake like entity tasked with navigating a procedurally generated Labyrinth. Your one true goal is consumption and dominance:

• Consume & Grow: Weave through the maze and devour scattered Orbs. Each orb increases your score and, crucially, your length.

• The Deeper Challenge: The longer your Snec grows, the more challenging the Labyrinth becomes. Collision with your own increasingly lengthy tail results in a game over.

• Goal: Survive, grow, and secure your position at the top of the Global Leaderboards (WIP) for ultimate bragging rights.

Key Features & Content

The Labyrinth is not empty. Lurking within are Spectres, agile creatures that patrol the maze.

• Avoid the Spectres: These creatures will chase and trap you. Mastering the map layout and predicting their movement is key to survival.

• Character Progression (WIP): Unlock new Snec bodies, unique visual trail effects, and spectral Spectre Skins as you achieve high scores and complete in-game milestones.

A feature-rich, dedicated arcade experience, designed for both quick sessions and deep mastery:

• Infinite Replayability: Navigate procedurally generated maps. No two Labyrinths are ever the same, ensuring a fresh challenge on every run.

• Multiple Game Modes: Test your skills in different ways:

  • Classic Mode: The pure, unforgiving arcade experience.

  • Dead End Mode: Plan ahead, dead ends are unforgiving and portaling into a Spectre is less than ideal.

  • Who You Gonna Call?: Play with NO Spectres! Easily customise your game to remove the threats and avoid your tail at any means necessary.
